What a beautiful, modern, amazing new home for my little birdie……. It was easy to put together, it has openings that human hands can get through to sort out the seeds and water without scaring birdie or making a mess. Visitors have commented on the style of it all and the high see-through “windows” are also an amazing idea, I can see what is going on which I could not do when the netting was there and now I do not have to vacuum the floor every 1/2 hour. I have have seen a lot of negative reviews of this cage but I have had one in the past and love the cages, birds make a lot of mess and this cage definitely helps to minimise this. I ordered the cage late Friday afternoon expecting it to be delivered for the following Tuesday, but it actually turned up the following day, fabulous service from Aquapets, am really happy with the cage, it’s spacious and easily cleanable. Bit tricky to ‘click’ together but after spending hours searching and reviewing different cages, I’m happy I made the right choice x

Brilliant! Bought this cage for my Quaker Parrot and it is by far the best cage I have ever had. Easy to assemble, robust, asthetically pleasing and practical. The clear plastic base gives full view for both bird and owner and secured accessible food trays make this fuss free. The front doors open both inward (making an inside platform) which does restrict the placing of perches and room, however, they also open outwards.. I placed 2 plastic perches facing outwards for the doors to rest on creating a platform on the outside which is now perfect! If you have a bird any bigger than a Quaker or they have lots of toys, ladders etc.. I would go for the Medium. Ordered on Sunday, arrived Wednesday.. both myself & my parrot happy :)

After reading all the negative reviews i was a bit sceptical about buying this cage. Someone said their bird had escaped somehow, i am sorry but a bird cannot escape unless you left a door open or food door flaps. Someone else said the roof fell in and killed thier canary, again thats not possible, other reviws state its really flimsey but its actually very sturdy. Now it states it takes about 5 to 10 mins to put together but in all honesty it took about 20 minutes. After we put it together and rested the top on the base it was very flimsey, but on closer inspection the side fit inside the tray slightly and clip in place. I took out the two awful plasc perches and fitter 4 wooden perches, 2 at the top and 2 near the bottom. I think its a fantastic cage for the money and very sturdy, if it falls apart after you have built it then you have not done it right. I would buy another one without any hesitation.

Purchased this as transporter and also as temporary accommodation while our budgie's own large cage is being deep cleaned. Its very concerning that these cages are being sold as full time homes. Parakeets are ground feeders and love to run around playing with toys on the bottom of the cage. This design prevents them from doing anything of the kind. Even worse, the perches are plastic with no grip whatsoever and the plastic feeders are at base level, meaning the bird has to stand on the awful grate at the bottom of the cage to get food and water. It doesn't make sense to have a bird in the first place if you can't stand the mess, which presumably is why these cages are sold and in my opinion it's very cruel to keep a bird in this way. I wound up putting two layers of sand paper on the bottom of the cage and changing to wooden perches, even though our bird doesn't spend long periods of time in it.

I love this cage, after so many cages, I have found one that my canary can’t scatter his seed all over the living room floor. It’s brilliant. It was pretty easy to put together and my canary is very happy in it. It’s well worth the money spent
